The Ottobock WalkOn range provides you with a dynamic and physiological gait, natural heel strike and an increase in step length and walking speed. All of this means that when using the WalkOn, you should be able to walk with much the same confidence and gait as you did before suffering from foot drop. The WalkOn range gives good foot lift (clearance) and offers smooth roll-over in the heel and forefoot zone. With a greater level of clearance to your foot, you are far less likely to suffer falls, which is especially important if the user is an elderly person.

AFO stands for Ankle Foot Orthoses and these are medical devices designed to supply support to your foot and ankle. Crucial for beating foot drop, AFOs fit into your shoes and provide additional aid to keep your foot from falling. Whether you have damaged nerves or muscles that have temporarily affected your ability to lift your foot or you have a chronic condition that causes foot drop, an AFO is a simple and effective solution to your problem.
