The WalkOn Reaction is slightly different to other products in the WalkOn range as it has an anterior (shin) support that connects around the calf, this special design helps to support the knee joint as well. It still provides you with the natural heel strike, increase in step length and walking speed, and an improved gait as with other WalkOn orthosis but caters to those with weaker knee joints or individuals who prefer the anterior structural support. The WalkOn Reaction aids your confidence in walking again by improving your foot lift (clearance) to reduce your likelihood of suffering falls and offers a smooth roll-over between the heel and forefoot zone.

AFO stands for Ankle Foot Orthoses, these are medical devices designed to supply support to your foot and ankle such as for foot drop. AFOs like these fit into your shoes to provide aid that stops your foot from falling.
