Wrist pain can be caused by several health conditions such as
- Joint arthritis, including natural wear and tare, Rheumatoid and osteoarthritis
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Injury or sprain
- Repetitive injury
If your experiencing pain from a soft tissue injury, overuse, or over-extension of your wrist joint, consider resting your wrist. You may want to apply ice to the site of your pain if you notice swelling.
If your treating carpal tunnel syndrome or loss of grip, you may want to try wearing a splint at night to try to stabilise the compressed nerves in your wrist.
Total Body Orthotics have a wide range of splints that are designed to support and stabilise the wrist joint.
